Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Honors KNSUBEB Chairman

The President’s Schools Debate Nigeria in Collaboration with Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has awarded the Executive Chairman, Kano State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Danlami Hayyo Best performance SUBEB Chairman in North\West Geo Political Zone.
While presenting the award to the Executive Chairman at just concluded Primary School Debate competition held at Federal Ministry of Education Conference Hall, Abuja the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Mr Andrew Adejo David said the award was in recognition of Dr. Hayyo excellent performance in basic education service delivery,where he left no stone unturned at ensuring, he utilizes every opportunity at improving the sub sector.
The permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Education in his words, disclosed that “the Ministry resolved, and I present the award to you in recognition of your outstanding achievements and commitments to the development of education especially in the basic education sector”
In this regard, while receiving the award, the Executive Chairman Dr. Danlami attributed the achievements in the basic education sector to Abdullahi Umar Ganduje led administration for his untiring support and commitment towards ensuring that Kano state becomes a leading state in basic education in the country.
Remarking further Dr. Hayyo added ” I will like to announce my decision to dedicate this prestigious award to my Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the people of Kano state in reciprocity and compliment to him for all that he done to the sector"
The presentation of the award was part of the 62nd Independence of presidents inter schools (Primary) Debate Champion. The management of the board in clamored for their support to the Executive Chairman graced the occasion.Other highlight of the occasion was the debate completion were the pupil’s display their talents indicating there is hope in public schools with commitments from teachers, the learners can do better.
