SUBEB Constitutes take off Inspection teams -Dr. Hayyo

The Executive Chairman State Universal Basic Board, (SUBEB) Dr. Danlami Hayyo, has said all arrangements have been concluded as the schools set to resume for second term 2022/2023 academic session.
Dr. Hayyo, said this during a meeting with the managements staff, Zonal Directors and Education Secretaries held at SBMC hall, SUBEB head quarters. The Chairman stated that, the meeting was imperative to brief officers on the arrangements put in place to ensure successful resumption for both pupils and teachers respectively.
He further said as part of the arrangements the Board has constituted take off inspection teams at State, Zonal and Local Education Authority levels to assess level of compliance by Pupils and teachers especially during first week of resumption.
Dr. Hayyo reminded pupils, parents and teachers that first week of schools resumption is not free week therefore charged Head teachers and teachers to plan and teach on resumption day. “We deployed our staff at State, Zonal and Local Government to monitor schools on resumption day” he added
Dr. Hayyo, reemphasized that the Board would not hesitate to punish any staff found wanting, while committed and hard work staff would be commended to boost their morals.
He said parents have roles to play therefore called on parents to send their ward to schools on resumption date as part of their contributions to uplift the education of their Children
The zonal Director Tsanyawa Malam Habu Muhammad Fagge and Dala Local Government Education Secretary, Malama Halima Mustafa on behalf of their collegues thanked the Chairman and his team for organizing the meeting and assured their redness to continue complying with all directives by the Executive Chairman.
