SUBEB Chair directs E.S Nasarawa to transper two Head teachers

The Executive Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board Dr. Danlami Hayyo, has expressed his satisfaction with turnout of pupils and teachers as schools resumed for second term 2023 academic session.
Dr. Hayyo who was represented by the permanent commissioner one Alhaji Kabiru Ahmad, stated this while addressing teachers of Magwan Science and technical Model Primary school and Race course Model Primary schools all in Nassarawa Local Education Authority during takeoff inspection visit to the school.
The Chairman further said the visit was to assess level of compliance by Teachers and their pupils as schools resume for second term 2022-2023 academic session, adding that the visit was also to monitor the activities of teachers especially in the area of lesson plan, scheme of work and other related materials for observations and recommendations
He added that during the visit the team would inspect the schools environmental sanitation, teaching and learning materials provided to the schools for the proper utilization.
While addressing the officials of the Local Government Education Authority of the area, Dr. Hayyo has directed the Education Secretary to transfer with immediate effect two head teachers that of Magwan Science and technical Model Primary school and the Head teacher of Race Course Model Primary for overstaying adding that the action hopes to improve efficiency in the two affected schools
Similarly, the Executive Chairman also directed the Education Secretary of the area, Malam Rabiu Muktar to issue commendation letters to five teachers of Magwan Science and technical Model Primary school and the School Support Officer of Race Course Model Primary for their dedication and selfless services.
According to him, the team has observed shortage of teachers in Magwan Junior Secondary Schools, therefore he directed the Education secretary to with immediate effect transfer over staff in Magwan Science and technical Model Primary school to Junior Secondary School section.
