Acting Chairman visits Race Course Model School

The acting Chairman, State Universal 
Basic Education Board Malam Rabiu Abdulkadir Harbau, has said the Board would not relent on its effort to ensure effective service delivery.

The acting Chairman made the announcement when he led the management team of the Board to Race Course Model Primary School in Nassarawa Local Government Education Authority for Quality Assurance visit.
Malam Rabiu  Harbau added that the Board is mandated to  supervise and monitor schools activities to assess quality service delivery.He further said that the outfit has proper arrangements at the Board, Zonal and   Local Government Authority levels for Quality Assurance and Monitoring and Evaluation for assessing teaching and learning activities.

The acting Chairman, pledged to look into consideration all problems facing the schools that hinder the development of education in the state.Malam Rabiu Harbau called on teachers to always be committed to their assignment as the present administration under the leadership of Alh. Abba Kabir Yusif has a good plan to revive Education sector in the state.

He reiterated that the Board would continue to attach priority on schools Monitoring and Supervision and will explore ways of motivating staff to serve as encouragement to them.While thanking the acting Chairman and his entourage for the visit, 
The Head teacher of the school, Malama Wasila S. Jauro assured to put into use all the recommendations made to uplift the standard of education in the school and urged the team to direct the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) to post more teachers in the school.
