Newly recruited BESDA Teachers In Tarauni LGEA receives letters of appointment
Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Abdussalam Abubakar, has urged 75 newly recruited BESDA teachers in Tarauni Local Government Area (LGA) to work diligently towards improving education in the state, which has been declared to be in a state of emergency.
At the appointment letter distribution ceremony, the Deputy Governor emphasized the significance of education, highlighting the state government's recent investment of N5 billion to boost the education sector across 44 Local Government Education Authorities (LGEAs).
The Interim Management Officer, Alhaji Abdullahi Maikano, assured the readiness of the Local Government Council to continue supporting the education sector.
Abdullahi Maikano emphasized the importance of education and solicited the cooperation of new teachers to enhance the quality of education in the local government, while thanking the Administrator, Abbah Kabir Yusif, for prioritizing the educational sector.
In his welcome address, the Education Secretary, Comrade Bashir Muhammad, appreciated the commitment of Governor Abba Kabir Yusif for initiating programs aimed at reviving basic education.
The District Head of Tarauni, Alhaji Ado Kurawa, expressed gratitude to the Kano State Government for prioritizing education.
